Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

Archaeopteryx Group LLC (“AGL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and retain personal information obtained through our website, course registration, training programs, and related communications.

1. Information We Collect

AGL collects only information reasonably necessary to provide our services and administer our programs. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • name and contact information;
  • job title, occupation, and employer or organization;
  • city, state, and country;
  • course registration and attendance information;
  • lodging, travel, dietary, accessibility, or similar course-related requirements you voluntarily provide;
  • payment and transaction information;
  • information provided through assessments, surveys, course evaluations, or communications with AGL; and
  • limited technical information generated through use of our website.

We ask that you not provide sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for participation in an AGL program.

2. How We Use Personal Information

AGL uses personal information only for legitimate business purposes associated with our services, including to:

  • respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
  • process and administer course registrations;
  • confirm enrollment, tuition, payments, and attendance;
  • plan lodging, course logistics, materials, assessments, and participant support;
  • deliver training, coaching, and advisory services;
  • issue course-related communications and certificates;
  • evaluate and improve our programs and services;
  • maintain appropriate business, accounting, and administrative records; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on one or more lawful bases for processing, including performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, AGL’s legitimate business interests, and consent where appropriate.

3. No Sale or Independent Sharing of Personal Information

AGL does not sell, rent, trade, or provide personal information to outside organizations for their own marketing, advertising, or other independent purposes.

AGL may use reputable service providers that perform limited functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, payment processing, registration administration, assessment administration, or secure data storage. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to AGL and are not authorized by AGL to use participant information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or lawful governmental request.

4. Marketing Communications

AGL will not use a participant’s name, photograph, testimonial, employer affiliation, course comments, or similar identifying information for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

Where consent is required for electronic marketing communications, AGL will obtain that consent. You may withdraw marketing consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

5. Data Security and Retention

AGL uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including administration of our programs, maintenance of appropriate business and financial records, resolution of disputes, and compliance with legal obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of when reasonably practicable.

6. International Data Processing

AGL is a United States company. Information provided to AGL may therefore be processed and stored in the United States.

Individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data-protection laws should understand that the laws governing personal information in the United States may differ from those in their home jurisdiction. Where applicable, AGL will use appropriate safeguards required by law for international processing or transfers of personal information.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), these may include the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of personal information where applicable;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • lodge a complaint with the appropriate data-protection supervisory authority.

These rights may be subject to limitations provided by applicable law.

AGL does not use personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Information About Other People

If a company or other person registers an individual for an AGL course, the person providing the information should ensure that they are authorized to provide the participant’s information to AGL. We will use that information only for purposes associated with the participant’s registration and participation.

9. Children

AGL’s professional training and advisory services are intended for adults and are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our professional programs.

10. Changes to This Policy

AGL may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable law. The current version will be posted on our website with its effective date.
